I spent waaaay too long on this thing. XD I think by the time it was completely finished, I had two and a half hours in it. (All because tomorrow is Fake Injury Day at school... Oh, the things I do for attention. XD)
This is a latex/toilet paper prosthetic created using this method: [link]
I painted it with acrylics and Vaseline, to get the shiny open-flesh effect, then sealed it all with Mod Podge. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite get the flesh color to match my skin tone, but... Eh. I'm not too broken up about it. XD Oh, and Q-tips make excellent makeshift tendons, by the way!
Here's a heads-up if you want to try making a zombie hand of your own: Vaseline your hand/arm hair. Further down than you think you'll go, too. Because it HURTS when you peel it off if you don't. X'D *is still a bit red around the wrist*
I apologize that the second image is a tad bit blurry. XD
Awwhahaha! Thank youuuu! That's the nicest thing that anyone has said about this one so far! I can't say I agree with you that it looks real, but I really appreciate the compliment!
