I forgot to upload this when I finally finished it. >.>

This is a painting of me last year's clown costume for the Haunted Hollow. When I started this, I was so horrendously frustrated with it because the painting itself is freakin' huge--30x40. That's 3/4 my arm span, give or take a few inches.

Once I got about 60% finished with it, though, I really, really started to like it. People would walk into the art room and be all like, "That's freakin' scary!" and "I hate clowns, but this is really good!" It was especially fun to tell them that it was a self-portrait. XD The looks they gave me... I must look like a sweet little angel child or something, because they certainly weren't expecting me to be so scary.

Also... This freaky clown of mine is male. I am not. XD My costumes are usually boys... And fortunately, people can't generally tell what gender I am when I'm decked out in this particular outfit. I'm still practicing on disguising my voice... though it is entertaining when folks get confused. 8D I just wish I had a name for this clown character of mine.

I've just now realized how very 'off' the colors are. Darn printer. XD But! I am very much proud of this painting, anyway.

This was a most pleasant surprise to come home to! ^w^ Honestly, it caught me completely off guard! I'm just... I don't even... How do I... I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH

Naww, you're too kind! :aww: I just wish that the photograph did the painting justice--the contrast between red and orange pops a lot more than this image portrays. XD

I still paint a bit with oils! I've been cranking out a few like crazy to meet deadlines, but because they're speedpaints they don't feel finished enough to post. XD

Do you work in sRGB or Adobe RGB1998? Its a huge difference between those two settings!!
Adobe RGB will show much more colors and brightness! Maybe give it a shot:)

Cool!!! I think I do like the "speed versions" of every painting more then the finals.
The show much more the skills on an artist. Would love to see some of them on your gallery:)

I'm actually not familiar with those settings! I think I know how to get to them on my programs, though--I've at least heart of 'em. I'll tinker around a bit and see what happens. 8D

Naw. :3 Well, I'll try and post a few, then! I'm a bit partial toward the ones that look good, though. The lousy ones aren't likely to see the light of day. >.>
