"Three weeks in the making and sparked from the urge to make monster noises for Halloween, this costume came about even more ferocious than the concept art. I want to someday create creatures and costume pieces professionally, and I hope that earning a Bachelor's degree in the arts will help me on that path."

Hooray for scholarship applications. XD I just hope that this is enough for a win!

This costume was completely trial-and-error. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, considering.

If anyone has any questions on how things were made, go ahead and ask! :meow: Seymour doesn't bite.

Cool! It's nice to see how the costume was made step by step. I really like how the fish-mask looked before it was finished. (the first picture with you wearing it) You look a bit like Marilyn Manson with the mask like that!

It's because I have that evil glare goin' on! :eyes: That was the best image I had of the building of the base of the mask. XDD I look kind of evil. But that's okay. :3

Looking back at this makes me think of how much fun I had making this costume. I really need to do another one... I've got a lion-in-progress right now, but haven't had time to make anything besides the base of the mask and the mould for the gloves.

Yes, the evil glare really helped! (haha, isn't it fun to act all creepy and evil...wait a minute...ACTING creepy/evil? We ARE creepy/evil! Ahahaha!)

I can't wait to see your lion costume! (I remember dressing up as a lion back when I was five years old! I looked like the lion from The Wizard of Oz!)

I had a lion costume when I was, like, eight. XD I don't even know what happened to it. (I used to have a cat costume, too--I tried to fit into a couple years ago and it was hilarious. I may be small, but I certainly can't fit into a cat costume for five-year-old girls... XDD)

It would be a good idea for me not to work on my costuming stuff for the next three months. XD I'm taking three college classes this trimester... Two of which require art and writing, which takes me quite a while. O_O

Haha, yeah even if I still had that lion costume, I certainly wouldn't be able to fit in it! I'm not as small as I used to be!

Good idea. Good luck with your classes!

It shouldn't be too difficult if I get into some more professional methods for costume-making! :3 I haven't started brainstorming for Halloween yet, but I'm pretty eager to do something with tentacles and/or scales. 83

It's never too early to brainstorm for next Halloween! In fact, it may be too late if it's more than a day past the previous Halloween! :P
