Vein Man - Detail

Well, this is part of a larger painting. But the rest of the painting sucks to high heaven, so I'm not posting it. Perhaps I'll fix it up before the end of the school year, though, because there's a possibility I'll be using it in my portfolio... (Or who knows? Maybe I can just stick this image in there and call it good. Or start over completely because it looks absolutely nothing like the reference photo.)

This was a very hands-on approach with acrylic paints. My fingers were used far more than the brushes. And, acrylic looks a LOT better on illustration board than it does on canvas, by the way. Illustration board + fingers = cool textures.
